After inspecting the structure, the crew replaced multiple deteriorated deck boards, repaired crumbling guardrail sections, and installed a new structural joist to reinforce the elevated deck.
The project also included replacing and strengthening the rotten wood surrounding the outdoor AC unit. Once the structural repairs were complete, the new boards were painted with matching Behr paint for a clean, cohesive finish. We had a good bit of rotten decking on the East and West sides of our house that needed to be replaced, along with several sections of crumbling guardrails that needed to be repaired or replaced. I did some research beforehand and thought I was probably going to need an expensive, full deck replacement. Gabriel came out, walked all around the deck with me, and made honest recommendations that perfectly fit my actual needs and budget. Gabriel and his crew did an OUTSTANDING and professional job handling the repairs. This was not an easy project—all of the work had to be done 14 feet up in the air, and they tackled it all in the brutal summer heat. Over two full 8-hour days, a hardworking crew of two to three guys worked non-stop. They replaced at least eight 5/4 boards and multiple smaller 5/4 sections, replaced a rotten 5/8" structural joist, and completely replaced the rotten wood around my AC unit, perfectly reinforcing the heavy decking right under it. They wrapped everything up by painting the new boards with Behr paint to match. Their pricing was incredibly affordable for that amount of difficult, skilled structural labor. While hauling off the old rotten wood is an extra fee (which I chose to handle myself), their core rates and work ethic are unbeatable. Courteous, skilled, affordable, and honest. Thanks guys!
